Two Nepalese students have been recently hospitalized here in Singapore.

First case: Rabindra Subedi, a student with Columbia School (Tanjong Pagar) was admitted to Tan Tock Seng Hospital after being hit by a moving vehicle near the crossing of Serangoon and Kitchener Roads on 9 August 2007 morning around 1am. After two days at ICU, he has been transferred to Normal Ward. However, his recent condition is unknown.

Second case: Deepak Basnet, a student with ICAS, was admitted to Singapore General Hospital after being fainted three times within past few weeks on the MRT, road and work. Currently he is going under strong medication and will need to undergo MRI in the next couple of weeks. He was released from the hospital on 10th August after being admitted for a week or so. One of the doctors observing him is a Nepalese doctor Mr Yam Rokka.
