Ex-princess Himani leaves for Singapore

Ex-Princess Himani leaves for SingaporeEx-princess Himani along with her three children, boarded a Silk Air flight to Singapore today afternoon.

Police escorted Himani to Tribhuwan International Airport.

Sixteen-days after her husband ex-crown prince Paras Shah came to Singapore, former princess Himani Shah today headed to Singapore to join her husband.

Former crown prince Paras Shah, who kept low profile in Singapore, came here on July 1 to find a good school for his children and home for his wife.

Clean, Green Beautiful Nepal

Nepal is clean and green environment is unmatched in the world. Despite the large population and varied activities, the government, together with the public, has managed to keep the country spotlessly clean. Water supply and sanitation are of the highest standards. Not only the urban areas, but even the few existing village areas are all hygienically maintained.

The buildings and housing estates that cover most of the land area in Nepal are well complemented by trees, bricks, stones, and shrubs in man-made housing. Along the numerous roads and highways are greenery’s which add to the natural beauty of Nepal.

This aspect of the environment attracts tourists. For those who come from the busy developed nations such as Europe, Japan and America. Nepal clean and green environment is very welcoming. For those who come from crowded or not clean and green environment provides a relief and healthy change.

Nepal is tropical climate, also attracts foreign visitors. There are four changes of seasons. For most part of the year, it is cool, windy, and rainy and snows all over, specially near the mountain area and the part of. Visitors and tourists enjoy their day at the snow and cold windy climate and enjoy the beautiful scenery as well. They will never forget trip of Nepal.

Born in 1960, Mr. Krishna Prasai has got two Master’s degree both in Sociology and Nepali language and literature from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. He is also a President of Jara Foundation and Life member of Literary Journalists Association of Nepal. His anthology of Story “Prakshyapan” (projection) and anthology of poetry “Gham Nabhayeko Bela” (During the sun’s absence) (both in English and Nepali) have already published with other five literary books.

Mr. Prasai had edited a book with mass volume of poem collection in Nepali language from Indian, Bhutanese and Nepali poets which is Nepal’s biggest collection till now, that is “Nepali sama samahik Kabitaharu”(Nepali- contemporary poems) His other poems have been translated and published in Hindi, Japanese, Korean and English languages also. He has received Talent Student Award from Tribhuvan University Kathmandu Nepal in 1989 and UNFPA Award in 1991. Also, he has been honored with some more literary awards.

He has been in countries like, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macaw, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Bangladesh, Thailand, Bhutan, People’s Republic of China and India.

Singapore schooling for Paras, Himani’s kids

Former Crown Prince Paras is travelling to Singapore today to identify a good school to educate his three kids here.

Sources close to Paras told The Himalayan Times yesterday that the former heir to the throne decided to move his three children and wife Himani to Singapore as the situation in Nepal is not conducive right now. “He will be travelling to Singapore as a commoner on a normal Nepali passport,” the sources pointed out.

Paras had stopped sending his children, Purnika and Hridayendra, to Rupy International School, two months ago. “Security is a big issue. With the government having withdrawn security after May 28 declaration, Paras is paranoid about the safety of his family,” said the sources, adding that during his stay in Singapore Paras would identify a good school for his children and also locate a service apartment.
