The Non-Resident Nepali Association has established Save Dolma Sherpa Fund. The fund established with the initiative of NRNA Women’s Forum has Ms. Usha Sharma and Mr. Tenzi Sherpa as Joint Coordinators. The Non-Resident Nepali Association appeals to the Nepalis residing across the globe to contribute to the Fund. The Non-Resident Nepali Association’s National Coordination Councils are requested to coordinate the fund raising activities in the respective countries.
The NRNA will use the fund collected in consultation with the Government to meet the expenses associated with defending the case in the court of law and meet other expenses to save the life of Dolma Sherpa and other Nepalis in similar condition.

Min Badhur Serchan is on the verge of making history. Serchan who is 77 years old and hails from Myagdi is preparing to scale the highest mountain in the world.
Judging by his recent success his target looks achievable. As only last year he successfully climbed a 5844m high mountain along with completing a hike form Mechi to Mahakali within 20 days. Now Serchan and his friends are roaming all over the world to collect fund for the expedition, which has noble intention of world peace and brotherhood. Serchan an ex-army is in Korea currently collecting fund.
Serchan was inspired by Japanese who scaled Everest at the age of 71. The expedition organizers urge fellow Nepalese to help Serchan realize his dream.

Wave magazine and KTM Card organized a friendly football match at Dasarath Stadium on Saturday, 11th August to generate fund for the flood victims who have been rendered homeless because of the heavy rainfalls this monsoon. The match was between the celebrities and the media personnel of Nepal. In a memorable and exciting turn of events, celebrity team won the match 4-3. The ultimate winners were, of course, the flood victims who shall be receiving all the proceeds of the match.
Celebrities and the media personnel had also taken out a rally the previous evening to join hands in reaching out to the victims in their time of need. Many prominent faces were present to rally the people in helping the unfortunate people from various parts of the country.

We all are aware about the recent flood and damages in Nepal. Many of our countrymen are displaced and suffered, homes and properties are washed away by the flood. Though, we can not recover the loses, but we can definately help them to move along with life.
